A US diplomatic compound in Baghdad has been attacked by a drone, The Washington Post reported, citing its sources.
According to reports, the US diplomatic support center, located near Baghdad airport and Iraqi military bases, was attacked by six unmanned aerial vehicles, five of which were shot down.
According to the publication, the drone strike occurred near an observation tower. There are no reports of casualties. Sources of the newspaper note that the US administration is identifying those responsible for the alleged strike.
Earlier, Reuters reported a drone attack on a US diplomatic compound near Baghdad airport. According to the agency, the strike was carried out by two drones.
