Tehran declared Ukraine a legitimate target for Iranian missiles and assured that there are no problems with the new aya - 1

The assistance that Ukraine provides to Israel makes it a legitimate target for Iranian missiles. This was stated in an interview with the publication Iran International by the chairman of the National Security Committee of the Iranian parliament, Ebrahim Azizi, BNR reported.

"Ukraine's actions in providing assistance to Israel, including support with drones, make the entire territory of Ukraine a legitimate target of the Islamic Republic in accordance with the UN Charter," Azizi said, UNIAN reported.

So far, there has been no reaction to the statement from an official Kiev.

Iran has provided Russia with thousands of "Shahed" drones, which it uses in its war against Ukraine. Subsequently, the production of drones using Iranian technology was transferred to Russia.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told American television that there were "no problems" with the new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, who has not yet appeared in public several days after his appointment, reported Agence France-Presse and Reuters, quoted by BTA.

"There are many similar allegations. I assume they will be convinced that there is no problem with the new Supreme Leader", the minister told MSNow in response to a question about the condition of Khamenei, who was injured in a strike.

"He is fulfilling his duties in accordance with the Constitution and will continue to do so," Araghchi added.

US Defense Secretary Pete Hegsett said yesterday that Iran's new Supreme Leader is "wounded" and possibly "disfigured".

The United States has announced that it is offering $10 million for information leading to the whereabouts of ten of Iran's top leaders, including Mojtaba Khamenei.

His only public appearance so far was a message read by a state television host on Thursday in which he vowed to avenge the US and Israeli attacks.

His father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who ruled the country for decades, was killed in the first US and Israeli strikes on Iran on February 28.

Thousands of people protested across Spain against the US and Israeli attacks on Iran, BNR reported. The largest demonstrations took place in Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao and Valencia.

Chants of "No to war!" echoed across the Iberian Peninsula two weeks after the attacks on the government in Tehran began. According to protesters, the offensive is a serious threat to peace in the region and the entire world. About 5,000 people gathered in Madrid in front of the "Reina Sofia" museum with white banners on which the word "peace" was written.

In Barcelona, dozens of people demonstrated in front of the cathedral, despite the pouring rain, behind a banner that read: "The war in the Middle East must stop. Don't forget Gaza".

The organizers of the "Stop the War" platform criticized the offensive against Iran. They stressed that the United States and Israel have violated international law and turned the Middle East into a time bomb. According to the protesters, it is the Iranian people who must decide their future; they condemned the bombings, which have caused the deaths of hundreds of innocent people.

The spokesman for the Iranian Association for Human Rights in Spain, Hamid Hosseini, also stressed that the offensive against Iran has resulted in the deaths of many people. He also condemned the regime in Tehran for its serious human rights violations and repression of those fighting for democracy and equality.
