Israeli Air Force planes attacked a multi-story building in Dahiya, a southern suburb of Beirut, Lebanon, where facilities of the Shiite organization Hezbollah are located, TASS reported.
„The enemy aircraft was aimed at a residential building in the Aqabiya district. Its residents were evacuated on Tuesday after receiving a warning from the Israeli army about an imminent attack,“ a civil defense source said.
It is noted that Israeli planes and drones are currently flying over Beirut.
In addition, a building in the Zuqak Blat neighborhood in central Beirut was hit by warplanes, RIA Novosti reported.
“As a result of the attack on the residential building, a series of powerful explosions were heard. "Ambulances and civil defense teams have been dispatched to the attacked building," the statement said.
Previously, Hezbollah carried out a rocket attack on an Israeli naval base near Haifa.
A rocket strike was also reported to have targeted the headquarters of the Israeli Navy's 13th Flotilla (Shayetet 13) in Atlit, where naval commandos are stationed.
