A grisly find was found in an artificial lake at a hotel in Sithonia - the middle arm of the Chalkidiki peninsula in northern Greece, local media reported, quoted by BTA.
As the Thessaloniki portal thestival.gr writes, according to police sources, a skull and bones were found at the bottom of the lake.
According to reports, the skeletal parts were found during lake cleaning activities.
The authorities believe that the skull and bones are human. They do not rule out that they have been at the bottom of the lake for many years, because the lake has not been cleaned up so far. The bones have been handed over for examination to the Forensic Medicine Service in Thessaloniki.
