The Iranian navy attacked two US bases in the region, which the US uses as a springboard for attacks on Iranian-controlled islands in the Persian Gulf.
This was stated by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
“As part of the 72nd missile wave launched against enemy targets, the Corps' fleet destroyed a hangar and fuel tanks at the Al-Manhad Air Base in the UAE and the Ali Salem Air Base in Kuwait“, the Corps said in a special statement.
“A large number of ballistic missiles and drones were used in the attacks.“
According to the Corps, “these two bases have become a starting point for aggression against Iranian islands in recent days“.
At least six explosions occurred in the city of Isfahan, located in central Iran, according to Al-Hadath TV.
There is no information yet about the targets of the airstrike, any damage or casualties.
