Russian forces have captured Platonovka in Donetsk region, the analytical project DeepState reported.

It is noted that they have also advanced near various villages in Donetsk region.

“The enemy has occupied Platonovka and has advanced near Riznikovka and Zakytne“, the statement quoted by UNIAN said.

There is no official confirmation of this information.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of 10:00 p.m. on March 21, 138 combat clashes were registered with the front line.

The Russians were most active in the Pokrovsk sector, where they carried out 28 attacks. Meanwhile, 17 Russian attacks were registered in the Konstantinovka sector, and 11 in the Gulyai-Polye sector.

The 3rd Army Corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces thwarted the largest mechanized attack of the Russian Federation. Moscow's troops tried to attack from seven directions simultaneously and deployed hundreds of soldiers and armored vehicles, but suffered heavy losses.

Dmytro Zaporozhets, spokesman for the 11th Army Corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, said that the Russians have set a goal to capture Konstantinovka in the Donetsk region by the May holidays.

According to him, the enemy will increase the pace and is already preparing for an offensive.
