Two neighboring buildings in the central Istanbul district of Fatih collapsed today, the probable cause being a gas explosion, “Türkiye Today“ reported, citing local media, BTA reported.
One person was rescued from the rubble, but there are fears that there may be more people under the debris.
The rescue operation is underway.
