Three people have died in a fire at a high-rise building on “Nikoloyamskaya“ Street in Moscow.
Five more were injured, the press service of the Moscow Emergencies Ministry said.
The fire broke out on the second floor of the building, in the elevator lobby and part of the staircase.
The ministry confirmed that the fire has been extinguished. 86 employees and 23 units of equipment from the Moscow Fire and Rescue Service arrived at the scene.
Firefighters rescued 19 people, five of whom are children.
