The Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces, Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, said that "the Iranian regime's axis of terror is starting to disintegrate", according to notes released by the military from his meeting earlier with the head of the US Central Command, Admiral Brad Cooper, the Times of Israel reports, quoted by Focus.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reports that Zamir and Cooper "discussed the importance of cooperation between the two militaries in the operation against the Iranian regime and coordinated the next steps" during their meeting.
"Through synchronized and coordinated actions, together we are striking the Iranian terrorist regime and making it both strategically isolated and weaker than ever", Zamir said.
"The strategic partnership with our ally is a tremendous source of strength and its level is unprecedented in this operation", he stressed.
Earlier, CENTCOM spokesman Capt. Tim Hawkins said the two military leaders "discussed the progress made during ongoing operations to eliminate Iran's ability to project force in meaningful ways beyond its borders".
