A "Su-30" fighter jet of the Russian Air Force crashed during a training flight over the Crimean Peninsula, which Moscow annexed in 2014, DPA reported, quoted by BTA.
The fighter jet's crew managed to eject, the Russian Defense Ministry said, specifying that there is no danger to the pilots' lives.
The Russian news agency Interfax reports that the fighter jet was not carrying ammunition.
Russia has several air bases in Crimea.
