Tehran will open the “gates of hell” to the US and Israel if they continue to strike Iranian infrastructure, said Ali Abdollahi, commander of the Central Staff of the Armed Forces of Iran.

“From the first days of the war, we have done everything we promised. Our message is that the gates of hell will open for you,“ he said.

A day earlier, US President Donald Trump promised to “unleash hell” on Iran within 48 hours if Tehran does not agree to the deal proposed by Washington.

Bloomberg reported that the US proposal includes 12 demands, including Iran's refusal to enrich uranium, ending support for armed proxy groups and opening the Strait of Hormuz. In return, Washington is offering three initiatives, including the lifting of sanctions and assistance for the development of civilian nuclear energy. A Reuters source specified that Iranian authorities considered the plan "unilateral" and that it lacked even the minimum conditions for agreement.

The US president previously announced that he had temporarily limited strikes on Iranian energy facilities, first for five days and then for ten days. The ten-day period expires on April 6. According to Trump, he made this decision against the backdrop of constructive talks with Tehran. However, Iranian authorities deny the existence of direct negotiations.

The Iranian news agency Fars, citing an informed source, reported that Iran had rejected the US proposal for a 48-hour suspension of The negotiators' meetings in Pakistan also failed to produce results, as Iran's leadership is not seeking dialogue with Washington, the source added.
