The price of crude oil is apparently "scared" and is maneuvering as a result of US President Donald Trump's threats to Iran, writes the BBC. We recall that Trump threatened to destroy Iranian power plants if it does not allow ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
So far, the price of Brent crude oil had risen to over $ 110 per barrel. As a result of Trump's threats, however, the price of crude oil is fluctuating and has fallen to $ 107 per barrel.
The price of oil has so far risen to over $ 100 per barrel last week, after Trump intensified threats against Iran. Then he warned that he would return Iran to the Stone Age.
In an interview with "Fox News" Trump indicated that there was "a good chance" that an agreement could be reached with Iran. However, he did not rule out "blowing everything up and taking control of the oil" if a ceasefire was not reached soon.
However, Iran refused to listen to the words of the American president, describing him as "helpless, nervous, unbalanced and stupid", adding that "the gates of hell will open" for the American leader.
