US President Donald Trump has unveiled a design for a triumphal arch in Washington, DC, which he described as “the world's largest and most beautiful arch“.
“Today, my administration officially presented the esteemed Commission on Fine Arts with a presentation and plans to build the world's largest and most beautiful triumphal arch,“ the American leader wrote on Truth Social.
The accompanying photo shows the design by Harrison Design. It features a light stone arch with gold-plated elements, two large colored metal eagles flanking the top, and a gilded gold figure in the center, reminiscent of the Statue of Liberty with wings.
