Skopje: With Rumen Radev we will seek a solution - 1

The election results in Bulgaria are expected. With Rumen Radev we will seek a solution. We all know that all prime ministers have always referred to the decisions of the Bulgarian parliament when it comes to policy towards us. This was stated by the President of the Republic of North Macedonia Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, BGNES reported. According to her, the frequent change of Bulgarian governments was an aggravating circumstance in bilateral relations.

"I know Mr. Radev, I have met with him many times. We do not agree on everything, but we know how to listen to each other with respect and come to the conclusion that we will seek a solution," Siljanovska pointed out. She noted that Rumen Radev will receive a mandate to form a government that opens up space for talks. "I expect to see each other, to talk, of course - with both flags, and to seek a new solution", Siljanovska emphasized.

"What is new is the dramatic situation in the world. In the conditions of a dramatically changed international order, security is gaining more and more weight and importance. I am talking about the security of the European Union (EU), about the danger and the need to build resilience against possible factors and actors in the Balkans," commented the President of North Macedonia.

Siljanovska also said that the Balkans have always been a litmus test for relations between the Great Powers, a litmus test and will certainly be so now. "I expect enlargement to be viewed not only through the prism of a larger EU, competitive on the global political stage, but also through the prism of greater security", she added.

According to Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, North Macedonia has a 100% coordinated foreign and security policy with the EU, as well as other countries in the region - Montenegro and Albania.
