US President Donald Trump said in an interview with the "New York Post" that Vice President J.D. Vance and a US delegation will arrive in Pakistan within hours for talks on the issue of Iran, stressing that he is ready to meet personally with senior Iranian leaders if progress is made, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
A senior Iranian official said that Tehran is considering the possibility of participating in possible peace talks with the United States, but that a final decision has not yet been made.
He pointed out that mediator Pakistan is making positive efforts to end the US blockade and ensure Iran's participation in the peace talks negotiations.
A Pakistani representative participating in the negotiations said the two-week ceasefire ends on April 22 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time (03:00 a.m. on April 23 Bulgarian time).
