The EU partners are not helping Brussels to support Ukraine, said European Union Foreign Minister Kaia Kallas at a press conference after the meeting of foreign ministers, quoted by the EU website.

According to Kallas, “everyone“ is turning to the EU for help because the US has reduced its support. She noted that Brussels is the biggest supporter in Sudan and Somalia. However, the Union cannot help all countries because “it has its own concerns“.

“We have a problem, namely Ukraine - we are alone there and we are the biggest supporters there. Not quite alone, that is not true, but we also have our concerns. We have our own problems here. That is why I would like to emphasize the importance of this issue, because we are doing a lot“, said the head of European diplomacy.

Earlier, US Vice President J. D. Vance said that one of the main achievements of the current US administration was the cessation of arms supplies to Ukraine. Meanwhile, Washington continues to supply Kiev with weapons paid for by other countries. For example, in 2026, it is planned to transfer weapons worth $ 15 billion to Ukraine. They are paid for by Europe and Canada.
