US President Donald Trump told reporters at the White House that he does not intend to rush to resolve the conflict with Iran.
“Don't push me. I've only been working on this for six weeks and their military is already completely destroyed“, he said.
“They may have replenished their supplies a little during the two-week break. But even if that's the case, we'll destroy them in about a day“, he said.
The US leader previously announced on Truth Social his intention to extend the ceasefire with Iran. Mahdi Mohammadi, an advisor to the speaker of Iran's Majlis (parliament), said Washington's announced extension of the ceasefire was a tactic and would allow it to prepare a new surprise attack on the Islamic Republic. Mohammadi believes that the US, as the losing party, "cannot dictate terms."
