Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, said that there are no signs that the deliveries of American weapon systems to Ukraine under the PURL mechanism are decreasing, Ukrinform reported.
PURL is a US-NATO initiative that provides Ukraine with critically needed weapons through targeted financing of supplies made in America.
„PURL is working. There are no signs of reducing efforts. Countries are paying for weapon systems for Ukraine supplied by the United States. They are already here or on their way to Ukraine. The flow continues. There are no assumptions or indications that it will decrease“, the military officer said.
In turn, the chairman of the European Union Military Committee, General Sean Clancy, added that he and his NATO counterpart had discussed Ukraine's priorities with the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, General Oleksandr Syrsky.

„He outlined the critical needs of the Ukrainian army. Due to constant enemy attacks, air defense remains our top priority“, he wrote.
At the same time, Syrsky expressed confidence that cooperation with the European Union and NATO is strategically important for both Ukraine and its partners.
