US President Donald Trump said that he will discuss the war in Iran and the partnership with NATO when he meets with King Charles III of Britain next week in Washington, Reuters reported.
According to the agency, the American leader said that he will raise the issue of a digital services tax in Britain.
Charles III will pay a state visit to the United States from April 27 to 30. He is expected to address Congress and be received by Trump at the White House.
Earlier, British media reported that Charles III intends to use the upcoming trip to improve relations between London and Washington, which have deteriorated due to Britain's reluctance to go to war with Iran.
The UK's position has drawn criticism from Trump, who has threatened to withdraw from NATO. As noted by the British press, Charles III intends to emphasize the importance of maintaining transatlantic unity at a meeting with the American leader.
