Six passengers were injured in an emergency evacuation of a Swiss Airlines flight from New Delhi to Zurich.
The incident occurred at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in the Indian capital, the Times of India reported.
The Airbus A330 had 232 people on board. The plane reportedly suffered an engine failure during takeoff acceleration, which then caught fire.
The crew decided to abort the takeoff and perform an emergency evacuation of passengers on the runway. Emergency slides were used for the evacuation. Six passengers were injured and hospitalized.
The airline said it would investigate the cause of the incident.
