Russian troops are trying to launch offensive operations and put pressure on different sections of the front, changing the intensity of their attacks, Ukrinform reported, citing Ukrainian Armed Forces spokesman Viktor Tregubov, BTA reports.
"The situation is quite unstable at the moment, because the Russians are trying to advance on all fronts, adjusting their tactics and changing the intensity of their actions. In the past few days and weeks, they have been focusing, for example, on the Liman sector or on the move towards Vovchansk. "That's why I can't single out a specific sector for the week," Tregubov said on television.
He noted that Russian troops continue to exert pressure in the vicinity of Kupyansk, and on the eastern bank of the Oskil River (Russian: Oskol) fighting is constant.
According to the spokesman, Ukrainian units are repelling attacks and inflicting losses on the enemy, preventing them from advancing deeper into the defensive lines.
