Israel said today that Kiev had not provided "no evidence" to support its claims that Israeli authorities had allowed the delivery of "stolen from Russia" Ukrainian grain to its ports, Agence France-Presse reported, quoted by BTA.

"The Ukrainian government has not formulated any request for judicial assistance and has not provided any evidence to substantiate its accusations," Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar said.

According to Ukraine, several vessels loaded with grain stolen from Moscow have arrived in the Israeli port of Haifa. "In any normal country, the purchase of stolen goods entails criminal liability," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said today.

Ukraine demands that the Israeli side take immediate measures to stop the import of grain stolen by Russia from the occupied Ukrainian territories, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Georgy Tykhy said, as quoted by the Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform.

Tykhy said today that the Israeli ambassador to Ukraine, Michael Brodsky, was summoned to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, where he was handed a note of protest regarding this issue.
