Iran's Ambassador to Cairo: We will not surrender or negotiate under pressure, we demand reparations from the US and Isr - 1

Iran will be forced to compensate for its losses through fees collected from ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz if it does not receive reparations from the US and Israel, Iranian Ambassador to Cairo Mojtaba Ferdowsi Pour told TASS.

„We want reparations from the US and Israel, and if we do not receive them, we will have to compensate for the losses from the war through fees collected from ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz“, the Iranian diplomat noted.

Iran does not plan to discuss its missile program or the “Axis of Resistance“ – regional armed groups supported by Tehran – during his talks with the United States, Pour said.

„We will not negotiate on the missile program and the „Axis of Resistance“, he said. The United States „must also respect all the legitimate rights of the Islamic Republic within its nuclear file“, he continued.

„We will not allow the United States to talk to us from a position of strength. Iran will never surrender or negotiate under pressure or threats of new attacks“, the diplomat stressed.

Russia can become a guarantor for the implementation of a future agreement between the United States and Iran, Pour is convinced.

„Together with Russia, we are making every possible effort to end the war, and Moscow can be the guarantor that aggression against Iran will not be repeated“, he said. The diplomat noted that Russia “is not the first time it has played a significant role in the diplomatic resolution of disputes over Iran's nuclear file“.
