Ukrainian forces have hit gas infrastructure in Russia's Orenburg region, more than 1,500 km from the border with Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky said, quoted by Ukrinform and Reuters, BTA reports.
According to him, Ukraine is working together with its European partners on the development of new technologies for protection against ballistic missiles. Zelensky specified that representatives of 13 countries and NATO participated in the discussions on the topic.
„Overall, Ukraine's current position on the front, in long-range strikes and in our joint results with partners, is at its highest level in years. We must maintain this and continue to achieve results“, he said in his evening address.
The Ukrainian president also stressed that “there are no individual victories or resilience of individuals“, and success depends on joint efforts. According to him, the main goal remains unchanged - protecting the territory and sovereignty of Ukraine.
“We are not giving up our land and independence. I am grateful to all Ukrainians who are walking with us on this path. Ukraine must stand, defend its independence and ensure the security of its people. This will happen“, Zelensky added.
