A power outage has affected large parts of Georgia, including the capital Tbilisi and the major cities of Kutaisi and Batumi, DPA reports.
The cause remains unclear, as does the extent of possible damage. Authorities have not yet commented.
Georgia has repeatedly struggled with power supply problems, including last year.
Much of the country's infrastructure is considered obsolete.
