Former adviser to the Presidential Office of Ukraine Oleksiy Arestovich said that Ukraine may start discussing women's mobilization as early as September. Ukrainian deputies and civil servants categorically denied this, Informator reports, quoted by Focus.
Arestovich claims that currently in "Ukraine is actively conducting an information campaign on the role of women in the Armed Forces of Ukraine".
"A campaign to recruit women is already being conducted in Ukraine, to advertise the service. The posters are already packed. "The Strategic Committee of the Armed Forces of Ukraine writes about what good women are," he said.
Arestovich also suggests that in September it will be discussed whether women will be called up to the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"I think that in the fall there will already be talk about mobilizing women. But such campaigns last 2-3 months, so the question of calling up women may arise in September," Arestovich added.
According to him, this is inevitable. After all, the Russian army has a significant numerical advantage.
We recall that on May 1, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky implemented the decision of the National Security and Defense Council on sanctions. The list includes former adviser to the Presidential Administration Oleksiy Arestovich, the sanctions imposed on Zelensky's former adviser are "for spreading Russian narratives."
