The administration of US President Donald Trump will force Ukraine to make territorial concessions if a peace settlement agreement with Russia is signed, The Daily Telegraph reported.
The White House has made it clear that if Trump mediates in the settlement between Moscow and Kiev, the latter will most likely have to cede territory. The reason for this is the successes of the Russian armed forces in the LPR, DPR, Kherson and Zaporizhia regions.
At the same time, Ukraine's European partners are concerned about this approach of the American leader, since he can “push“ this version of the agreement without Kiev's consent. Therefore, Brussels may propose an alternative plan, the newspaper concluded.
