A government with our participation in this parliament is impossible, we will return the mandate. This was stated by the PP-DB MP Nadezhda Yordanova on BNT.
"It is not possible because they are stubborn or we are irresponsible, but because all the political forces that the parliamentary mathematics comes up with, with their parliamentary behavior have shown that they are incapable of upholding anti-corruption and reform policies. Also policies that lead to better governance of the country", she explained.
Yordanova indicated that the PP-DB will go to consultations with President Rumen Radev on Monday, and will not fulfill their mandate, but in the parliamentary group (PG) they will discuss their upcoming actions and the timing for them in view of the procedural rules. "How exactly we will act is a matter of tactics that we will discuss in the parliamentary group", she commented.
According to the MP, the next parliamentary vote should be held in March in order to have a calmer and more normal election day, including in terms of weather conditions and the length of the day.
"The next weeks are extremely crucial and three things are super important for us. First, to prepare free and fair elections. We will insist that the machines return as they were. To have 100% machine voting, without fraud, without paper. We, as a political entity - to open our lists, to give the active young people from the square the opportunity to find their political representation and their political representatives, including in their faces", said Yordanova.
She pointed out that for PP-DB it is exceptional in these elections to win the place of the first political force in order to be a mandate holder in the formation of the next regular cabinet. "We are to be the guarantor who will make it possible for the next majority in parliament to uphold the pro-European agenda of Bulgaria. We will fight for every single vote. We will fight for the widest and strongest representation possible in the next parliament. Which necessarily requires us to be the first political force", said Nadezhda Yordanova.

The government in resignation should take up its commitments and submit an extension law on the budget. If this is not done, we will enter the hypothesis of an unscrupulous tenant who does not pay the bills, and a plumber who turns on the water and the stove", said Atanas Slavov.
He expects the next parliament to be much different from the current one. "Its task will be to dismantle a model built over years, which is embodied by the Borisov-Peevski tandem. We have fought it half-heartedly and unsuccessfully several times, it is time to do our job", Slavov pointed out.
