Malena Zamfirova did not overcome the round of 16 of the parallel slalom in the Chinese city of Milin in a snowboarding World Cup competition. The Bulgarian did not finish her duel with the experienced Swiss Julie Tsog, after she started aggressively, but fell at the beginning of the course, BTA reports.
This is Zamfirova's second entry into the World Cup finals, after she finished in third place on Saturday, defeating the winner of the qualifications, Zazuna Maderova from the Czech Republic, in the final.
Among the men, Radoslav Yankov also fell in the round of 16 in the parallel slalom, losing to German Stefan Baumeister, who was 19 seconds faster. Yankov finished 11th in qualifying and is driving on the blue track, constantly pushing his rival, who was on the red track, which gave him an advantage, and he took advantage of it.
