Ludogorets took Levski's talent, Petar Stanic threatened the Blues - 1

Ludogorets has attracted a player from Levski, Topsport reported. The youngster is Hristiyan Georgiev (2009 draft).

The left wing of the "Blues" has preferred to continue in the Razgrad U-17 team, which is part of the elite group, reports "Tema Sport".

Some of these "Eagles" players also have a connection to men's football, having been recruited to the third team, which participates in the Northeastern Third League.

The coach of the "Gerena" junior youth team is Stoyan Dimov. In Razgrad, he will work with Valeri Venkov and Milen Marinov.

It is not the first time that a talent from the "blues" has chosen to continue his development in a competitive rival. There were also those who went to CSKA 1948. In the Elite Junior Group under 17, Ludogorets is the leader, while Levski is fifth, 7 points behind.

Serbian midfielder Petar Stanić arrived at Ludogorets this summer, but quickly showed his qualities.

The 24-year-old midfielder from Pancevo took the competition in the "Best Foreigner" category in the Bulgarian championship during the "Footballer of the Year 2025" ceremony, and so far he has 43 matches, 14 goals and 11 assists in all tournaments.

Yesterday at the "Hyatt Regency Sofia" hotel, Stanić was accompanied by his parents, who experienced both the ceremony and their son's meeting with the media very emotionally.

"The award means a lot because I put in a lot of effort and I am really happy to be nominated and also awarded at such a ceremony. Such recognition is the only motivation to move forward," Stanic began.

However, Ludogorets is 9 points behind Levski with nine rounds remaining and after 14 consecutive championship titles, the question of whether the team from Razgrad will succeed this time is being asked more and more often.

"It will be a very fierce battle, because on the one hand Levski has a lot of quality to be there, at the top. But on the other hand, we never give up. So we have confidence, we believe in ourselves. We have playoffs ahead of us and we will give everything in them. So we still have more direct matches in the playoffs and a big battle awaits us in general," explained Stanić.

His excellent performance in Razgrad also earned him his first call-up to the Serbian national team.

"This is a dream not only for every footballer, but also for every person who practices any sport. Representing your country on the sports field is a dream that has come true for me," concluded the player, who arrived in Bulgaria from Backa Topola for 1.8 million euros.
