In November, US special forces boarded a ship traveling from China to Iran and confiscated its cargo, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing its sources.
According to them, US special forces boarded the ship while it was off the coast of Sri Lanka.
The publication claims that there were dual-use goods on board. According to US intelligence, the cargo was intended for Iranian companies specializing in purchasing components for Tehran's missile program.
After confiscating the goods, the ship continued on its way, The Wall Street Journal added.
