Volodymyr Zelensky: Russians don't count their dead at the front! Putin just doesn't care - 1

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said in a speech to the Dutch Parliament today that the Russians are losing about 30,000 people killed per month, but Russian leader Vladimir Putin doesn't care because he believes only in power and money, Ukrinform reported, quoted by bTA.

“Putin doesn't believe in people. He believes only in power and money. He spends the lives of about 30,000 servicemen on the front every month. Not wounded, 30,000 killed every month. There was a month when 25,000 Russians were killed. In another month – 31,000“, Zelensky said. He added that there are drone videos confirming the death toll.

“Russian strikes are always extremely bloody, but Putin doesn't care. The Russians don't count their dead, but they count every dollar, every euro they lose. That's why a strong decision is needed on Russian money. These funds must work for defense against Russia“, he added, and called on the Netherlands to support a decision to provide frozen Russian funds to Ukraine.

Zelensky also expressed his gratitude for the financial support from the Netherlands, which will reach 3.5 billion euros next year, as well as for the provision of weapons, air defense systems and for the contribution to the PURL initiative.

“We really appreciate everything that the Netherlands has already provided - from the “Patriot“ systems (Patriot) and F-16 aircraft, to artillery and drones. Thank you for that. And the leadership of the Netherlands in the PURL initiative is particularly significant. This contribution helps protect civilians and strengthen the air shield over Ukraine and Europe,” Zelensky said.

He also announced steps to establish joint production of drones. “I am grateful for your decision to support us next year – 3.5 billion euros in support for Ukraine in 2026 and an additional 2 billion euros in defense assistance adopted in December are powerful expressions of solidarity. We really appreciate this so much,” he added.

Zelensky stressed that strengthening Ukraine’s air defense and energy security is not just military support, but also protecting lives and a chance for the future.

Ukrinform recalls that Zelensky is visiting the Netherlands today. His program includes meetings with Moldovan President Maia Sandu, Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoff, and King Willem-Alexander. He will also participate in a high-level diplomatic conference.
