Democrats on the House Oversight and Accountability Committee have released 68 photos obtained from the archives of accused pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.
Among them are photos of Microsoft founder and one of the richest men in the world, Bill Gates, with young women, CBS News reported.
As the network noted, Gates admitted that he spent time with Epstein in an attempt to raise donations and establish connections for charitable work through the financier.
The published materials also include a passport photo of a Ukrainian citizen and photos of a woman with quotes from Vladimir Nabokov's novel "Lolita" written on her body
On December 12, Democratic members of the House Oversight Committee announced that they had received 95,000 photos from the Epstein case.
On December 10, the Southern District of New York granted permission to publish materials in the case of the financier. He was arrested by New York State law enforcement on July 6, 2019. Prosecutors said they had evidence that between 2002 and 2005, he arranged visits to his Manhattan home for dozens of underage girls, the youngest of whom was 14 years old. Epstein's circle of friends and acquaintances included numerous current and former officials not only in the United States but also in many other countries, including former heads of state, prominent businessmen and celebrities from the entertainment world. The criminal prosecution of the financier in the United States was discontinued after he committed suicide in his prison cell cell in August 2019.
