General Syrsky: Russian Army is Modernizing Its Drones and Changing Its Tactics - 1

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky said that Russia is actively taking advantage of weather conditions, modernizing its strike drones and changing its tactics, including through attacks at ultra-low altitudes. In these conditions, the main priority for the Ukrainian army is to significantly increase the number of interceptor drones, reports "Ukrainskaya Pravda".

According to Syrsky, the key task at this stage is to strengthen the range of unmanned interceptors by increasing the number of drones, ground stations and radar systems, as well as by expanding and improving the training of crews. He specified that within the framework of an echeloned air defense system, interception lines are being built at a certain distance from large cities.

The Commander-in-Chief added that the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to form separate battalions for unmanned air defense systems and create regular units with interceptor drones at training centers. The goal is to increase the effectiveness of defense against increasingly sophisticated Russian attacks with unmanned aerial vehicles.
