A child was killed in a Ukrainian drone attack in Russia's Yaroslavl region, Governor Mikhail Evraev announced.
“Unfortunately, there are casualties. A child who was in his home in the Yaroslavl region at the time of the attack has died. His parents are hospitalized in serious condition,“ he wrote on the MAX platform.
A resident of a neighboring house was also injured, the regional governor specified.
The governor stressed that all the injured are receiving medical assistance. Units of the Ministry of Defense and law enforcement agencies continue to provide security.
“All necessary assistance, including financial compensation, will be provided in full,“ added Evraev.
On Saturday night, more than 30 drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were hit in the region.
He added that fragments of a drone may be found in the region; if they are found, people should avoid touching them or using mobile phones near them. “The threat remains. Wait for the signal “Everything is OK“ for unmanned aerial vehicles,“ concluded the governor.
