US President Donald Trump said he's very optimistic ahead of key talks with Iran in Pakistan this weekend, Agence France-Presse reported.
"They talk a lot differently in meetings than they do to the media. They're a lot more reasonable," the US president said in a telephone conversation with NBC News, referring to Iranian officials.
"They accept whatever they have to accept. "Don't forget, they were defeated," Trump said.
