Pakistan has offered the US and Iran joint patrols in the Strait of Hormuz, Al Jazeera Arabic reported.
According to a Pakistani diplomat familiar with the matter, Islamabad, which hosted and mediated the latest round of talks between Washington and Tehran, has shared a proposal to regulate shipping through the Strait of Hormuz. The proposal included the aforementioned point.
Earlier, the Iranian government confirmed that the talks will continue for another day, despite the alleged disagreements over the status of the strait.
