Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky commented on his conversation with US leader Donald Trump on July 4 in his evening address published on his Telegram channel, stating that it was the best ever.
“This was probably the best conversation ever, the most productive. We also discussed the topic of air defense“, Zelensky said.
He expressed gratitude to the US side for its readiness to provide assistance to Kiev.
In addition, the Ukrainian leader noted that the US anti-aircraft missile systems “Patriot“ are extremely important for protection against ballistic attacks.
Earlier, Zelensky called the conversation with Trump “important and useful”.
