The leader of "Bulgarian Social Democracy-Euroleft" Alexander Tomov, part of the "Bulgarian Social Democracy-Euroleft" coalition, sees President Rumen Radev's future political project as a national centrist one, with which the united "left" should partner in the future parliament:
"In the upcoming elections, Radev will form his own bloc, which by all accounts will be centrist, broad-based, broad-national. The left segment in the next parliament remains unprotected. This is exactly where we want – the expanding Euro-Left, plus the BSP, plus the other coalition partners, to form a center-left bloc, which in tomorrow's parliament will form a post-election pro-government or other coalition with Radev. This does not exclude, of course, a partnership with other parties in the next parliament".
A sufficiently large majority around President Radev and the united Bulgarian left in the future National Assembly is the strategic goal set by the National Council of "Bulgarian Social Democracy-Euro-Left", held today.
In the coming days, the platform will be proposed for consideration by the BSP and the coalition partners, Alexander Tomov told the Bulgarian National Radio.
