Kiselova: It is not about political influence for Sarafov's resignation, and the prosecution is fleeing the wind of change - 1

There is no question of political influence for the resignation of Borislav Sarafov, and the prosecution is fleeing the wind of change, without yet having a constituted majority in the National Assembly. This was stated to bTV by the constitutionalist and former Speaker of the 51st National Assembly, Assoc. Prof. Nataliya Kiselova, quoted by novini.bg.

She indicated that she does not expect a radical change with the election of Vanya Stefanova as acting Prosecutor General, given that she takes Sarafov's place and he returns as Deputy Prosecutor General. "We will know them by their deeds", Kiselova hinted.

According to her, after there was a clear winner after the elections 24 hours after the results, Borislav Sarafov decided to leave.

"Sarafov was not scared, but rather did not want to remain in the focus of the majority", commented the former speaker of parliament.
Kiselova added that it is the responsibility of the National Assembly to elect the new members of the Supreme Judicial Council. If we elect only administrative heads, it will make a bad impression, the constitutionalist warned.
Natalia Kiselova also said that she hopes that the chairman of the BSP-United Left Krum Zarkov will receive a vote of confidence, since he is not to blame for the collapse of the BSP.

She also added that she expected "Progressive Bulgaria" to be first in the elections, but not with an absolute majority.
