We must be united, including in parliament, because with the concentration of power, which is present for objective reasons, there needs to be a very strong pro-European and anti-corruption opposition. This was stated to the media by Bozhidar Bozhanov, co-chairman of „Yes, Bulgaria“ when asked whether two parliamentary groups would be formed in parliament – one of „Yes, Bulgaria“ (DB) and one of „We continue the change“ (PP)., reports BTA.
Bojanov made the comment at the Courthouse in Sofia, where he was at a hearing in a case in which he is accused of a crime in office related to a public procurement.
From the DB, we agree with what Atanas Atanasov wrote that we must have a course towards more unity in order to convince voters that we are their tool. We continue to support this thesis together with “Democrats for a Strong Bulgaria“, Bojanov also said.
He added that there have always been and will be disputes, but there are no dividing lines between “We continue the change“ and “Yes, Bulgaria“.
Bozhanov commented on the topic of the electoral district from which PP leader Asen Vassilev is represented, like a storm in a teacup, and added that there was no such dispute at the leadership level.
Our opinion is that we should be one parliamentary group and we have taken documented actions in this direction. We are writing to PP, added Bozhanov.
