Eggs and chicken meat weighing over 188 kg were seized by inspectors from the "Border Control" Directorate of the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency at the "Kapitan Andreevo" border checkpoint. This was announced by the BFSA. The inspection was carried out jointly with employees of the "Customs" Agency.
In a passenger car with Bulgarian registration, entering from Turkey, envelopes with egg shells with a total weight of 108 kg and 80.8 kg of chicken meat without documents were found.
The goods have been confiscated and will be destroyed.
