Alexander Nikolov and Kucine Lube Civitanova suffered a 1:3 (17:25, 36:38, 25:12, 21:25) loss against the host Allianz Milano in a match from the 18th round of the Italian volleyball championship, BTA reported.
The Bulgarian national team scored 30 points and became the top scorer for the guests, but they managed to win only the third game. Milan led 21:16 in the second half, Civitanova managed to tie the game 24:24, but fell dramatically by two points - 36:38.
The home team's top scorer was Ferre Reger with 25 points. Mattia Bottolo added another 16 points for Cucine Lube in the game that lasted an hour and 53 minutes.
Civitanova is in seventh place in the standings with 31 points. The team is on a two-game losing streak.
