Multi-hour blockades of border crossings with Bulgaria and North Macedonia have been planned by protesting Greek farmers for today afternoon, ANA-MPA reported, BTA reported.
Specifically, no trucks will be allowed through the Promakhon border crossing (opposite Kulata) on the border with Bulgaria for eight hours until 8 p.m. in the evening. Passenger cars and buses will pass freely.
The Exohi point (opposite Gotse Delchev) will be closed for nine hours until 9 p.m. in the evening. The protest participants have announced that they will stop the passage of trucks of all types, and that cars and tourist buses will pass through on bypass routes.
For four hours, from 6 p.m. until late in the evening, the Evzoni border crossing on the border of Greece with North Macedonia will be blocked. At the Niki border crossing on the same border, traffic will be stopped for two hours from 11 a.m.
