US President Donald Trump announced that US military, working with Nigerian military, killed Abu Bilal al-Mainuqi, the second-highest-ranking leader of the Islamic State.
“Abu Bilal al-Mainuqi, the second-highest-ranking ISIS leader in the world, thought he could escape to Africa, but had no idea we had sources informing us about his activities. He will no longer terrorize Africans or participate in planning operations against Americans,“ the American leader wrote in Truth Social.
