Kevork Kevorkian: The Passy Trap

The Plovdiv Municipality intends to name a “signature” space in the Old Town “Passy Square”.
And thus to preserve the memory of the merits of THREE representatives of the “Passy” family - by explicitly mentioning their names.
And they are:
Solomon Passy - lawyer,
Isaac Nisim Passy - died in a Nazi concentration camp.
And the third is the brilliant scientist Prof. Isaac Passy - the favorite lecturer of generations of students. His contributions to philosophy and aesthetics are so significant that three squares could be named after him.
However, another proposal is also being vigorously promoted: to name the square simply “Passi”.
This is undoubtedly a rather strange idea, with a slight touch of treachery - because even today, not to mention the following decades, this frugal “Passi” will remind most, if not only of another representative of the family: Solomon Passy, the well-known Atlanticist, politician, etc.!
This bonus will certainly cause him inconvenience - at least in the memory of the other Passys.
And also to the general public, who may decide that the one who sent your Orthodox faith to hell is immortalized while he is still alive... the one who made a fool of himself with the lion from the Bulgarian coat of arms...
There is no need to list his other merits, they are well known...
